The United States Supreme Court released an opinion today holding that LEOs are required to have a valid search warrant prior to installing a GPS tracking device on a vehicle. Read the opinion here. Look for a post on this case in the near future.

Lance LoRusso is a litigator who was a Cobb County Police Officer for 12 years. He remains a sworn officer and is a staunch advocate for cops. He serves as General Counsel to the Georgia Fraternal Order of Police as well as Lodge Attorney for Cobb County’s Lodge 13 of the Fraternal Order of Police.
